Ula Maria's garden of childhood memories
She spent her early years in Lithuania, so plants from the Baltic coast made their way into many of her gardens. “My grandmother Teresa loved gardening and we grew absolutely everything: our own vegetables, fruits and flowers,” says Ola Maria, “and we did not design this new garden in Northampton, but simply remembered what was in the old one and added plants over three years, which brought our family even closer.” Key plants of the garden: Pinus sylvestris 'Watereri', Rosa rugosa 'Alba', Artemisia abrotanum, Sorbaria sorbifolia, Sedum kamtschaticus 'Atlantis', Stachys byzantina, Potentilla fruticosa 'Daydawn', Potentilla fruticosa 'Daydawn'
